A young hooded San Javier knifeman was one of seven people rounded up by the Guardia Civil in the last week for their alleged involved in five robberies and attempted thefts committed across the Murcia region.  The San Javier incident saw the youth walk into a local shop wielding a knife and demanding  that money be handed over to him. The owner bravely stood his ground, with the failed thief running away empty-handed. The Guardia launched an investigation and tracked him down and took him into custody along with other individuals (pictured) in Cartagena, Murcia City, and Calasparra.
