Damián Suárez has reached an agreement to end his contract with Elche and will become the first signing for Getafe this summer, linking up again with likely new boss Fran Escriba


Besides securing Escriba, Getafe have also reached an agreement to sign the Ilicitanos most consistent player but the signing will not be made official until Elche’s future is finally decided in the courts. The 27-year-old Uruguayan right-back made 34 appearances for Elche last season. Meanwhile, Elche’s problems get from bad to worse, with a fresh ruling from La Liga(the LFP), that they’ve barred the club from signing any players next season due to contractual irregularities
