The junior members of the Costa Cobras rugby club recently rubbed shoulders with the San Javier Squalos at a special joint training session to give the new players a broader experience with the help of a well-established club. It was a session that was thoroughly enjoyed by both sets of youngsters, and now all eyes are on the Cobras seniors as they get ready to take part in their first set of competitive matches in the Formentera del Segura 7’s tournament on Saturday June 27th. The action gets going at 10.00am at the Polideportivo.

Meanwhile the Cobras have started training on Guardamar beach on a Tuesday evening from 7.00pm with everybody welcome to join in. Training still takes place on a Monday and Wednesday from 6.00pm for the juniors, and from 8.00pm for the seniors at the Daya Vieja sports ground.

For anybody interested in playing for the club, there’s a meeting this evening (Friday June 19th) at the Bridge Bar in Rojales, with all ages, genders and nationalities guaranteed a friendly greeting. For more details call Dutch on 692 767 242.
