Work on building a new park in the El Chaparral area of Torrevieja should be finished by the end of the year.

A 40 thousand square metre area is being redeveloped by 48 members of the Mediterraneo employment workshop and Torrevieja council say that construction is running to schedule.

Children’s play areas, skateboard facilities, and water fountains are just some of the features being incorporated into the project, which is reinvigorating a former piece of wasteland.
