A San Miguel de Salinas businessman has called in the anti-corruption ombudsman to investigate why Guardamar’s El Campico is still running without a license after 20 years.

The unnamed businessman is asking the ombudsman to shed light on what he says is the fact that the Guardamar council has done nothing to enforce the market’s closure, despite the fact that the courts have ruled it as illegal by stating that public interests were not served by it continuing.
