Officers from the Guardia Civil in Alicante have arrested two men who deceived women into performing stripteases and naked dance routines during interviews for nonexistent jobs as nightclub dancers.

The operation began last summer when investigators became aware of the existence of a profile on a social network site which was offering work as a waitress or dancer in a club in the Alicante town of Sax.

The interviews were then conducted via webcam, which were recorded, with the victims asked to perform a variety of routines and subsequently threatened to keep quiet under the risk of the videos being posted publicly.

The two men, aged 27 and 47 and of Spanish nationality, have been charged with crimes against sexual freedom and privacy.
