Trade union and employer organisations have done a deal which will see salaries across large parts of Spain go up for the first time in three years.

The deal was concluded by the business owners’ federations of CEOE and Cepyme, representing small- and medium-sized businesses, and the main workers’ unions UGT and CCOO.

It covers a period of three years, with a one percent rise for this year, followed by one point five percent in 2016.
