A third company has declared an interest in bidding for the right to build four large tower blocks, which would include a hotel,  on the Torrevieja coastline.

The Información newspaper has reported that El Grupo Don Sento has filed documents concerning proposals and environmental impact studies with Torrevieja council for the building of the 29-floor structures, which would occupy a 50-thousand-square-metre area.

Metrovacesa and Baraka are the other companies to have thrown their hats into the ring to get the contract, with Torrevieja council pledging an extensive public consultation over the plans with associations and individuals.

The project will be at Cala del Palange, Playa del Cura and Los Locos.
