The Valencian ombudsman is processing 11 complaints over the alleged refusal of Torrevieja mayor José Manuel Dolón and his government team colleagues to comply with information requests submitted by the main opposition party, the Partido Popular.

The  PP claim they have asked for details on a variety of mainly urban planning issues like flood risks and infrastructure plans, but have been met with a wall of silence.

The ombudsman can only issue recommendations once he has concluded any investigation.
