A new radar speed camera (picture from the Información newspaper) has been installed on the N-332 in the Torrevieja area on what is regarded as one of the biggest black spots on the whole stretch of the road in Alicante Province.

The Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) has placed it on the northbound carriageway at kilometre 54, in area where there is an 80 kilometres per hour speed restriction, as motorists enter the Torrevieja area from the Orihuela Costa.

The Información reports that the camera was installed last week, and it is neither mentioned on the DGT website of fixed radar points, and no warning signs have been erected.
