A two-year-old unconscious boy was saved at Alicante-Elche airport by two Guardia Civil officers last Friday, after they spotted him in trouble, with his parents trying to revive him.
Officers looking at the live cameras at around 10.30 am noticed a young couple in a distraught state with the boy’s father not knowing what to do with his son.
The Guardia officers left their post and they went to the outside dropping-off area and sought out the couple, with his father holding the child desperate to find any medical help.
The men noticed the boy had symptoms of stiffness, loss of consciousness and difficulty breathing, and one of the officers carried the boy straight to the airport’s medical area, where he was attended to, ahead of being to transfered to Alicante General Hospital.
The nationality of the family and any additional details were not made available by the authorities.
