A lorry stashed with 650 kilos of hashish hidden within boxes of toilet rolls was pulled over by the National Police on the A-7 motorway in the Murcia region, after National Police officers saw the large vehicle being driven somewhat erratically.

The officers followed the vehicle for a few kilometres, and then intercepted it at exit from the motorway. The 57-year-old Spanish driver appeared nervous when he was pulled over, arousing suspicions that he was carrying more than just toilet rolls in his large cargo.

The lorry was taken to Lorca, where the drugs were discovered, and the man was arrested, with the illegal cargo apparently destined for central Europe.
