CD Torrevieja’s captain, Lewis Allen, will not play again this year after he fainted at the end of Sunday’s match against Paterna. The British player suffered some knocks to the head during the match and had to be held up by Torry officials after the final whistle, due to being disorientated.

The 22-year-old was taken to Torrevieja Hospital and kept in overnight, after having a scan. He was discharged on Monday but with his health a priority, he has been advised to rest and will miss Torry’s final two games of 2016.
