The Valencian second division regional group 16 division has ended up in a mess, with clubs pulling out at the last minute last week, ahead of a fixture list that was already going to feature a higher number than normal quota of empty weekends. Oriol, CD Sport Horadada, and CD Torrevieja “A” all quit just before the start of the season with the Valencian FA not even telling clubs of fixture changes and what exactly what the state of play is. The current position means that at least three clubs per weekend will not have a match unless the whole of the fixture list is redrawn, which the Valencian FA have said that they are not prepared to do.
