Thrill seekers will be able to stay closer to the action than ever before next year, as the Terra Mitica Gran Luxor Hotel is set to open its doors in time for summer 2016.
The builders have already completed the skeletal structure of two out of the floors of the hotel and the car park, which will start to go on sale next month.
The hotel, located near the Egyptian themed area, aims to receive a 4-star standard and will have 346 rooms , completed in two phases.
The first building will house a total of 226 rooms-including luxurious and spacious suites and junior suites – a large pool, a spa area with jacuzzis, multipurpose and meeting rooms and lush gardens among many more services.
In a second phase, the hotel will expand by having an additional 120 new rooms.
The Grand Luxor Hotel will be the first of three planned by the new managers of Terra Mitica, with investment around 30 million euro.
The theme park, which first opened its doors in 2000, is now closed for the winter and will reopen in April. Once open, the hotel will be available all year round.
